The court found Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alekhina, and Yekaterina Samutsevich, the three imprisoned members of the Russian feminist anarchist post-punk band Pussy Riot, guilty of the charge of “hooliganism.” Sentence has not yet been passed. Court watchers are currently predicting between 3 to 7 years of jail time for each of the musicians.
UPDATE: The judge has handed down a sentence of two years in prison for each of the women convicted.
